The new car measures 4 561 mm in length, 1 752 mm in width, and 1 507 mm in height. It comes standard with LED headlights and taillights, a chrome grille, and 16-inch alloy wheels on the Life derivatives) and chrome window strips and chrome door handles.
The interior also got some alterations and now features dual-tone seat upholstery and touch surfaces.
10-inch touchscreen infotainment system
Standard features include keyless entry, ambient lighting and Climatronic air-conditioning (in the Life derivatives), a multi-function steering wheel and 521 litres of boot space.
Updated technology, entertainment and connectivity features present a 7-inch touchscreen radio, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with wireless App-Connect - and wireless mobile charging (Life derivatives) and eight sound speakers.
On the safety front, it has up to six crash bags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), multi-collision braking system, LED headlights and taillights, tyre pressure monitoring, Park Distance Control in the rear, rear-view camera (Life derivatives) and Hill Start Assist (only in the Life Tiptronic derivative).
Wireless mobile charging
There is no change to the four-cylinder MPI petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual or 6-speed Tiptronic transmission. The engine delivers 81 kW power and 152 Nm of torque at 3 850 r/min to 4 100 r/min.
The top speed is 187 km/h. Fuel consumption claims 6,5 l/100 km.
Standard is a 3-year/120 000 km warranty, a 3-year/ 45 000 km EasyDrive Service Plan and a 12-year anti-corrosion warranty. The service interval is 15 000 km.
