A perennial favourite amongst 4x4 enthusiasts and adventure seeking singletons alike, the Suzuki Jimny, which is as rooted in the past as the Land Rover Defender, has been given a modern update in the form of new audio system. That's it.
The upgraded system features RDS for the AM/FM radio, as well as MP3 compatibility for the CD player. A USB port is also included allowing you to connect your favourite Android or Apple device which are supported. There is also an auxiliary input socket for further connectivity.
While you hop and skip up a mountain or over a sandy dune, you can also now safely take calls and stream your music via Bluetooth connectivity through the new audio system. Come to think of it this is without a doubt the most modern feature you'll find on the antiquated but no less endearing and plucky Jimny 4x4.
After a slight upgrade in 2014, the 2015 Jimny still retains its compact all-terrainer underpinnings and continues to offer a compelling combination of agile handling, legendary all-terrain capability, willing performance and pocket-pleasing fuel efficiency.
The drivetrain still links Suzuki’s tried and trusted 1 328 cc in-line four-cylinder engine to a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic gearbox, both with a low-range transfer case. That combination, together with the Jimny’s low mass, raised ride height and extended suspension travel, ensures exceptional 4×4 capability, almost regardless of the terrain.
The Suzuki Jimny comes with standard comfort and convenience including air-conditioning, remote central locking, electrically operated windows and mirrors and power steering.
