Sporty Haval Jolion Joins the Ranks

Featuring a new generation 1.5-litre engine and a unique front grille, the Haval Jolion S adds a sporty touch as the new flagship of the SUV range.

The Jolion S capitalises on the same level of standard specification, premium interior, connectivity, and safety features as found in the Jolion Super Luxury and adds a few of its own.

The Jolion S runs on a new generation 1.5-litre engine with an upgraded turbocharger. The Performance Pack engine offers increases of 25 kW and 60 Nm above that of the standard Jolion, generating 130 kW between 5 500 r/min and 6 000 r/min and 270 Nm between 1 500 r/min and 4 000 r/min.

The power comes through a seven-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) that drives the front wheels. A standout feature is the addition of Launch Control, allowing drivers to extract maximum performance from the drivetrain when accelerating from a standstill position.

It offers four driving modes: Standard, Eco, Sports, and Snow, and three Dynamic adjustable steering modes, namely Sport, Comfort and Light.

For pleasing aesthetics, its front grille features a chrome honeycomb pattern with blacked-out styling elements, including the front and rear bumper garnish, side mirror caps, door beadings, roof rails, and the 18-inch alloy wheels with a gloss black finish and 225/55 R 18 tyres.

Interior specification includes paddle shifters behind the eco-leather steering wheel, a 7-inch colour instrument cluster, wireless charging, a front 12V power outlet and a dashcam power outlet. Infotainment is catered for by a 12,3-inch multimedia touch display that incorporates Bluetooth and a six-speaker sound system.

There is a comprehensive safety array aboard the Jolion S that includes dual and front-side crash bags and curtain bags. Active safety equipment includes anti-lock braking with Electronic Brake Force Distribution and Brake Assist, Electronic Stability System (ESC) and Traction Control, Anti-Roll System and Secondary Collision Mitigation and Hill Assist.

To foster a safe driving experience, the Jolion boasts Lane Departure Alert, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane centre keeping, Blind spot detection, Lane change assists and Driving fatigue detection. 

Unique to this model are pre-collision warning and automatic emergency braking.

Pricing

The Haval Jolion comes with a 5-year/60 000 km Service Plan and a 5-year/100 000 km Warranty. Service intervals are every 12 months or 15 000 km.
