Rechargeable Haval in Local Showrooms

Haval is offering local car buyers an opportunity to ‘green’ up their motoring with two variants of the hybrid electric Haval Jolion HEV.

The Jolion HEV is distinguishable from the rest of the Jolion range by LED Premium Vision headlights and fog lights that now feature blue accents, a diamond front grille, and a redesigned front bumper. Silver roof rails flared rear brake lights, a rear diffuser, and dual vent rear spoilers complete the Jolion look.

Wheels are 17-inch or 18-inch sports alloys depending on the specification grade.

Power comes from a 1.5-litre hybrid drivetrain that combines a petrol engine with an electric motor. Power balancing allows the vehicle to operate solely on electric power or through a combination of the electric motor and the internal combustion engine.

The Jolion HEV can seamlessly transfer between configurations, including EV, Series Hybrid, Parallel Hybrid and Regeneration depending on the driving conditions and driver input.

The Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) combines the outputs of the internal combustion engine and the hybrid system, resulting in a total power output of 140 kW and 375 Nm at 5,0 l/100 km.

The interior (with soft-touch materials) features heated front seats, a six-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat and a four-way mechanically adjustable front passenger seat.

The Haval Jolion HEV is available in Luxury, and Super Luxury variants, with intelligent keyless entry and a push button start, a panoramic sunroof, a seven-inch colour instrument cluster, and wireless charging on both Luxury and Super Luxury models.

Luxury models get a 10.25-inch Multimedia Touch Display, while Super Luxury derivatives feature a 12.3-inch Multimedia Touch Display and a Head-Up Display.

All Haval Jolion HEV models come standard with an Electronic Stability System, Traction Control, anti-lock braking and EBD. Passenger safety is ensured thanks to dual front, side and curtain crash bags.

All models come with Anti-Roll System and Secondary Collision Mitigation, Uphill and Downhill Assist, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and Rear Parking Sensors.

In addition, Super Luxury models gain a 310-degree panoramic camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist and Intelligent Turning Assist, Lane Departure Alert, Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Blind Spot Detection and Lane Change Assist.
