Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the new and improved Mercedes-Benz 517 Sprinter Panel Van. The new variant replaces the outgoing Sprinter 516.

A new generation engine has added 5 kW to the power output of the new Mercedes-Benz 517 Sprinter Panel Van and improved fuel economy.

The new 517 replaces the previous 516 range, and the all-aluminium OM654 diesel engine also has improved noise and vibration levels.

Marinus Venter, the Head of Product and Marketing for Mercedes-Benz Vans South Africa, says: “We are immensely excited to be updating our popular Sprinter 516 Panel Van line-up with this next-generation engine technology."
