Mercedes-Benz A35 AMG 4Matic
It isn’t even the full-fat A45 hyper-hatch that will at some point make a rousing entrance. Rather a tamer sibling, one with more than enough fire in its loins to challenge the establishment till big brother makes an appearance.
How does 225kW from its blown 2.0 engine sound? If your answer is "good for a 4.7 second 0-100kph" then well done you.
Nissan are really building the GT-R50
But it won’t be cheap. No, not at R16mil. But it will be quite fabulous judging by the photos.
Performance on top of the donor GTR35 isn’t much to write home about but then, this is a styling project by Pininfarina, one that will remain very, very exclusive.
Current Corolla becomes new Toyota Quest
Although personally, this doesn’t feel like news at all, rather an incredibly obvious thing.
But here it is in official terms, the old car gets the Quest badge as the new model arrives. Much like the Vivo and Figo badges fill the same role at those marques. Excellent value be the name.
The Pininfarina Battista
Well, it has its sight set on being the most powerful car to ever emerge from Italy.
You know, the birthplace of supercars and such. As it should with its founder's own namesake on the metal, and a 1900bhp electric powertrain means it has the clout necessary to be taken seriously. This should translate to a sub 2 second 0-100kph sprint, a top speed north of 350kph and with a range exceeding 500km. Electrifying!
Aston Martin Valkyrie screams like a V12 banshee
Because it is. From its 6.5 litre naturally-aspirated, Cosworth-fettled twelve cylinder symphony it can summon 735kW and 740Nm. It will rev up to a stratospheric 11,100rpm at which point it sounds remarkably like an F1 car. Pure joy, then.

A fresh Gymkhana instalment has arrived
Here is Ken of the Block doing mental things in four cars, in four different parts of the world. This is Gymkhana 10.
