The MINI Cooper E features a battery capacity of 40.7 kWh, while the MINI Cooper SE boasts 54.2 kWh. Consequently, this equips the new models with a predicted range between 300 and 400 kilometres.

MINI is actively preparing to launch the fifth generation of the family, featuring two new electric versions that boast a significantly increased travel distance on a full charge.


MINI offers two power variants: the MINI Cooper E, which has an output of 135 kW, and the MINI Cooper SE, which has 160 kW. For optimal road holding, weight distribution, stability, and agility, the lithium-ion high-voltage battery rests on the floor of the MINI Cooper Electric.


Since its original launch in 2020, the all-electric MINI Cooper SE has experienced a remarkable 25.5% increase in sales in 2022, making it the most popular MINI model by a large margin. Last year, MINI sold more than 43,000 units of the electric MINI worldwide.
