Confused? Well, that’s Mazda speak for their new design language adorning their new range. And let’s be honest, they’ve hot the design nail on the head.
Anyway, more about the new Mazda CX-3 which made its international debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The smallest SUV in the Mazda range has been confirmed for South Africa, but for now detailed specifications are a little sketchy.
Design-wise the CX-3 is a bit of a looker and manages to mix the cuteness of the smaller Mazda2 and road presence of the bigger CX-5. Overall it’s set to cut a unique profile on the road.
No official word on powertrain offerings, but expect 2.0 litre petrol, and possible 1.5 litre turbodiesel, most likely available front-wheel and all-wheel drive.
“With global launches starting from Japan in the spring of 2015, the CX-3 is set to hit South African shores in the latter part of 2015 to become a staple model in South Africa’s Mazda vehicle line-up.” - reads the local press release.
