The Killarney Motor Show returns after a two-year break. The fifth edition will take place in Cape Town on October 30.

It has been a long two years, but the fifth edition of the Killarney Motor Show is back on track and ready to rev at the Cape Town circuit on October 30 – an event celebrating 75 years of motorsport racing.

Powered by the City of Cape Town and supported by MasterDrive, Alert Engine Parts, Wingfield Motors and Motul, regular participants will be on show alongside the latest manufacturer offerings.

The band of motorsport and car culture enthusiasts who have, over the years, created a world-class facility on what was, in 1947, a dusty, forgotten piece of wasteland alongside the old road to Malmesbury.

New car dealers have their dedicated circuit, offering test drives on the latest models all day, while hundreds of vendors sell just about anything you can think of for your car – and your tummy!

In addition to the static displays, there are numerous interactive displays ranging from test drives, passenger rides in drift cars, on ‘Mad Max’ type vehicles, E36 Cup and Karting for hire. Further activities include 4x4 activities, spinning, aerial kiddies fun fair, (non-compulsory) snake shows, live music all day and lots more.

The paddock behind the Clubhouse brings together hundreds of exotics bearing names such as Porsche, Jaguar, and Alfa Romeo, but you will also see race cars, used and new, and restored vintage family cars.

For the first time, the show is also the end point of the annual ‘Truckerz Cansa Convoy’ charity run, where you can meet some road warriors who (literally) keep this country rolling.

Tickets are available at https://computicket-boxoffice.com/e/killarney-motor-show-8uJ50s or pay at the gate – R100 for adults, R50 for scholars under 16 and free for children under 12.
