2015 Picanto features revised front and rear bumpers, but the big news is the addition of a fancy new ‘Sports Pack’ which will surely turn heads. A dual, chromed exhaust setup with faux diffuser certainly adds a cheeky touch around the back, whilst up front, deep set sculptured front bumper with revised air intakes and fog-lamps with chrome surrounds. Very Fiat 500-ish. Nice!
Also on the list of updates are newly designed 14” alloy wheels.
Inside you’ll find new chrome accents and new upholstery design. Taking centre stage is the optional 7” display which will house Kia audio, video and navigation system.
Following on the customisation options offered by many of the competition in this segment, customers will be able to spec different colour packs, namely Red, Yellow and Brown Pack options which will include interior accents depending on the chosen colour.
Kia’s 3-cylinder 900cc and 1.2-litre engines are sure to be carried over. Can you imagine if Kia offered the new 2015 Picanto with their newly released 1.0-litre turbocharged triple? 88kW and 172Nm sounds good in such a small package doesn’t it?
